Well, not much happening in my neck of the woods. Still waiting for the sprinkler guy to come and put in the new system and do the grading to remove all weeds.
Hard to believe I had grass but then the gopher came and the spinkler system broke. So now I am starting over on the yard. Just waiting impatiently for the sprinkler guy. Usually there are Black Angus cows roaming in that field you see.
On the stitching front, I don't feel like I made much progress. Here is the geese.
Will work some more on this one tonight. I did pull this lady out this week and work on her a bit.
Think I started her in 2009. Found I did a lot of starting that year but not sure why. Must have had startitis very bad. I have been struggling with it since last weekend but have been saved from starting anything new just from the fact that I can't decide what to start. Silly I know!
I did finish knitting a top from the spring Debbie Bliss magazine. It is being blocked today and then has to have the finishing work done. Also worked on a crocheted tunic I started in 2009 only to find I had crocheted an extra two inches and had to rip back. Then I was working on a cabled cardigan out of a Vogue mag. and found that the bind off had switched on me and now have ten rows of cable to rip back. Probable why I haven't felt like I have gotten much done lately. Every thing I have worked on has had to be ripped out again. Oh well. This phase will pass. Soon I hope. :) Two more weeks till vacation. I know I really need it this year.
Happy Stitching!
